Sunday School and Bible Class

Start a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it. Proverbs 22:6

Each Sunday morning, during the church service, the children of our Sunday School leave after the children's address to meet in the Hagan Room. They return to the meetinghouse during the last hymn to finish the service as a church family.

In Sunday School, the theme of the children's address is carried on, expanding and reinforcing the message by means of craft or memory verses. There may perhaps be another story, or even some songs and games.

Bible Class

After the children's address, our young teens move to the Minister's Room for the Bible Class. The atmosphere there is a little more informal and they are encouraged to interact and discuss the Bible passage. There may even be some juice and biscuits! Again, the young teens rejoin the church service during the last hymn.

In September the boys and girls will be answering the question 'How do we follow Jesus?'. In October and November they will be thinking about 'God the Creator'. Then in December around Christmas they will be exploring the names given to Jesus.
