Sunday School and Bible Class

Start a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it. Proverbs 22:6

Each Sunday morning, during the church service, the children of our Sunday School leave after the children's address to meet in the Church Hall. They return to the meetinghouse during the last hymn to finish the service as a church family.

In Sunday School, the theme of the children's address is carried on, expanding and reinforcing the message by means of craft or memory verses. There may perhaps be another story, or even some songs and games.

Bible Class

After the children's address, our young teens move to the Jenkins Room in the church hall for the Bible Class. The atmosphere there is a little more informal and they are encouraged to interact and discuss the Bible passage. There may even be some juice and biscuits! Again, the young teens rejoin the church service during the last hymn.

Annual consent forms for Sunday School and Junior Bible Class are available here.
