Ballydown congregation is hosting Iveagh Presbytery's Mission in Ireland evening on Sunday 2nd March at 7.00pm.
Rev David Curran will be sharing of the church re-development work out of Wexford and Scott McMenemy will update us on The Bridge church plant in Banbridge town centre.
The theme of the Mission in Ireland evenings this year is ‘New Things’, drawing on Isaiah 43:19: “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” This aims to highlight some of the new things that God is doing throughout Ireland today, with the hope that it encourages the church to know that neither wilderness or wastelands prevent the growth of Christ’s kingdom.
