Our Tuesday Fellowship is using a brand new resource for use within congregations that aims to help followers of Jesus reflect on and live out the essentials of discipleship. Essentials is a practical Discipleship Resource that has been developed specifically for the context of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland, drawing on a wide collection of voices, insights, teaching and testimonies from right across our denomination.
Each session will unpack how it is essential for disciples to come to Jesus, respond to His call, share in community, take their place in culture, reflect His courage, accept the cost, take up His challenge and continue with Christ.
Join us on Tuesday evenings as we walk through the journey of discipleship by drawing on passages from the life and ministry of Jesus, right from the call of the first disciples to their commissioning into his mission.

Church Family Carol Service
Sunday 24th December at 4.00pm in the Church Meetinghouse, followed by tea and mince pies in the Church Hall. A special offering for the Presbyterian Children's Society will be collected at this service.
Christmas Day Service
Monday 25th December at 10.30am. A special offering for the PCI World Development Appeal will be collected at this service. Information about this year's appeal, 'A beautiful idea: Women's voices in fragile states', can be found on the PCI website.

We will be having our annual autumn fellowship weeked here from Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th November (d.v.). Over the course of the weekend we will be focussing on Luke 4:14-30, where Jesus proclaimed, "the year of the Lord's favour".
The sacrament of the communion of the Lord's Supper will be celebrated at the end of the morning service on Sunday.
The programme for the weekend is:
- Pre-communion service - Taking Jesus at His Word
- Friday 3rd November at 8.00pm
- Communion service - Thanking Jesus at His Work
- Sunday 5th November at 11.30am
- Thanksgiving service - Trusting Jesus in His Word
- Sunday 5th November at 6.30pm

As we look ahead to the autumn term restart of the different ministries associated with our congregation, we remember what the Bible says:
Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labour in vain Psalm 127:1
Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord Almighty Zechariah 4:6
apart from Me, you can do nothing John 15:5
We therefore need to pray for the Lord's help and blessing on all our work.
A special series of meetings for prayer is planned for Wednesday 30th and Thursday 31st August, and Friday 1st, Monday 4th and Tuesday 5th September. These meetings will be held in the Magill Room at 8.00pm each evening.
Each evening we shall be focusing on particular organisations or aspects of our church life.
Also, please remember the times of prayer before our morning and evening services each Sunday. If you are able, come and join in the prayer meetings as we look to the Lord for His blessing.

- For children of primary school age
- Bible Stories, Quizzes, Songs, Crafts, Sports and Snacks
- 10.00am-12.30pm each day in the Church Hall
Monday 24th - Friday 28th - Evenings
- Youth evenings for young people of secondary school age - each night from 7.30pm.
Sunday 30th
At 11.30am in our Church Hall we shall have a special Family Service to round off the week - all are invited!
