Holy Week 2020 - 'Shadows of the Cross'

Holy Week 2020 - Shadows of the CrossThrough the first week of April, Sun 5th - Fri 10th, the church families in Donaghcloney and Waringstown will be exploring together some of the Shadows of the Cross in the Old Testament. The first part of the Bible can seem strange to modern readers, but it shows that the cross always was part of God’s plan.

Through the cross, the Lord of Creation has won salvation for His world. Because of the cross, you can come to know the Saviour and find life in His Name.

Cameron Jones and Leslie Addis will open up God’s Word night by night at 7pm to show the Shadows of the Cross point to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Intro video: https://youtu.be/4AGd2MoWT4g

The services will be available on the Donacloney Together Facebook page, and also on YouTube.

Sun 5th  Shadows of the Cross - Christ, our serpent crusher: Genesis 3
Mon 6th  Shadows of the Cross - Christ, our substitute: Genesis 22
Tue 7th  Shadows of the Cross - Christ, our sacrifice: Exodus 12
Wed 8th  Shadows of the Cross - Christ, our reconciliation: Leviticus 16
Thu 9th  Shadows of the Cross - Christ, our forsakenness: Psalm 22
