Fit for Purpose 2014 / 2015

Some copies of the study booklet for the 'people of service and outreach' Bible study series, "All the difference in the world" are still available. Also, there is now the opportunity to borrow a copy of the accomopanying DVD.

If you weren't able to attend the studies in the autumn, or if you would like to work through the material again, check the table in the vestibule.

The Presbyterian Church in Ireland's Fit for Purpose theme for 2014 is "A People of Service and Outreach", with each congregation seeking to identify the needs of the community where it is placed and encouraging its members to act as Christ’s representatives in the place where they live and work.

Over the coming weeks, our Tuesday Fellowship shall be working through a series of Bible Studies using the resource All the Difference in the World. The accompanying DVD of animations and video clips will guide us through the topics.

We will be focusing on the letter of 1 Peter, looking at a series of snapshots that build a biblical gallery of images that help us examine:

Who we are

  • as the people of God

What we're for

  • service and outreach

What we are called to be part of

  • bearer's of God's redemption and the difference that it makes in the world into which He sends us to live for Him.

If you don't usually attend our Tuesday Fellowship, why not try out one of these special meetings? On the other hand, if you are a regular attender, why not invite a friend to come along?
