Churches in Northern Ireland are permitted to use their meetinghouses again from Monday 29th June. Donacloney Presbyterian’s oversight team (the Kirk Session) has decided to aim to recommence morning services on Sunday 6th September (earlier if possible, later if need be) and not to resume evening services until further notice.
Under the current guidance, a number of things need to be set in place in the meetinghouse before services recommence. The Congregational Committee will address these over the next number of weeks.
Everything has changed, but nothing has changed. Still, Jesus Christ is Lord.
The drive-in services hosted in the church car park as part of Donacloney Together continue on Sundays at 3.30pm in July.
We will hear from Rev Stephen Skuce (Methodist Church in Ireland North Western District Superintendent) on Sunday 12th July, Colin Hylands (CEF Youth Challenge Team Leader) on Sunday 19th July and Pastor Clifford Morrison (Interim Pastor, Comber Baptist Church) on Sunday 26th July.
Please continue to adhere to the following details:
Only cars with members of one family on board allowed.
Nobody is permitted to leave their car.
Only the driver's window may be opened.
Maintain spacing between cars.
No bicycles or people standing in car park.
Please arrive early to facilitate these restricitions.
