Summer Outreach Week 2023

We're looking forward to our Summer Outreach Week taking place from Sunday 23rd July to Sunday 30th July.

Sun 23rd Jul, 11.30

A Family Service in the Church Hall at 11.30am will launch the Summer Outreach Week.

Mon 24th - Fri 28th Jul, 10.00-12.30

  • "Down by the Sea" Summer Bible Club
  • For boys and girls of primary school age
  • Bible Stories, Quizzes, Songs, Crafts, Sports, Snacks & more!
  • 10.00am-12.30pm each day in the Church Hall

Mon 24th - Fri 28th Jul, 7.00

  • Youth evenings for young people of secondary school age
  • Games Night, Treasure Hunt, Bouncy castle, Footgolf, Park Challenge with Bible message each evening
  • meeting each night at 7.00pm

Sun 30th Jul, 11.30

At 11.30am in our Church Hall we shall have a Family Service to round off the week - all are invited!

Service of Ordination of Ruling Elders

On Sunday 11th June, in a service conducted by a commission of Iveagh Presbytery, Wayne Buttery and Brian Turkington were ordained to the Office of the Ruling Elder and installed to the oversight of Donacloney Presbyterian Church.

Coronation Prayer Service

coronationAhead of the King's coronation, we will be hosting a prayer service with Donacloney Together on Sunday 30th April at 6.30pm.

Let us commit the King to God in prayer, that he and all who are in authority under him may order all things in wisdom and equity, righteousness and peace, to the honour of God.

Evening of Music & Song

evening music songJoin us for an evening of music & song!  - Sunday 26th February at 6.30pm in Donaghcloney Elim Church.

For our monthly evening service in February we join together for a united praise service with the other congregations in the village and extend the invitation to the whole community.

Scattered & Sent

Scattered & Sent

We are hosting Iveagh Presbytery's Mission in Ireland evening on Sunday 12th March at 7.00pm.

The speaker is Rick Hill, Secretary of the Council for Mission in Ireland and Rev Philip Poots will be sharing of the congregations in Inishowen.

The theme of the Mission in Ireland evenings this year is 'Scattered & Sent', which draws on Acts 8:4, “Those who had been scattered preached the word wherever they went.”

Farmers' Night

farmers nightThe first Donacloney Together event of the new year is Farmers' Night!

Join us on Saturday 21st January at 7.30pm in the church hall.

There will be food provided, and we have the Rural Chaplain for the Presbyterian Church in Ireland - Mourne man Kenny Hanna - coming along to join us, speaking about his work in sale yards and farms across the country.
