Special Harvest Offering to Renovation and Building Fund
As well as the usual displays of flowers, fruit and vegetables, we are going to include a special feature this year. We want to create a display in the vestibule of tinned fruits and vegetables, preserves and jams. These can then be distributed to the elderly and housebound, or forwarded to a food bank, after the harvest services.
Could you donate something to this feature? Donations may be left in the vestibule on Friday 9th or Saturday 10th October, when the meetinghouse will be open to receive gifts of fresh flowers, vegetables and fruit, and for the decorating to take place.
Please see the sheet in the vestibule if you are able to provide refreshments for the Harvest Supper.
