Church Exterior Refurbishment

The refurbishment work on the exterior of the meeting house is nearly complete, with the majority of the scaffolding now removed to reveal the new brickwork and pointing and the cleaned stonework.

The platform and handrail outside the rear door are now complete. A new, partly-glazed door has been installed to provide a safe exit from this part of the building.

The main stained-glass windows are being repaired, cleaned and fitted with protective storm glazing.

The windows on either side of the pulpit are being modified to provide a weatherproof seal between the choir room and the main church building.

Here are a few photos to show the state of the existing walls and the progress during the repairs.
